C4 Images and Safaris together with Iconic Images ran a very successful tour to Namibia in July of this year. Client Abraham Joffe filmed the beautiful video below. Kaingo, South Luangwa

C4 Images and Safaris had our first Photo Tour with Zambian photographer, Patrick Bentley, in South Luangwa at the beginning of October. Hosted by Patrick Bentley and C4 guide, Isak Pretorius, the trip was a huge success with sightings such as hyenas at a hippo carcass, lions with cubs and a crocodile trying to capture a impala to name just a few. Masai Mara Day 4

Day 4, and all the guests opted for a hot air balloon safari while the intrepid guide decided to pay an early morning visit to the female Cheetah and her 4 cubs. Bizarrely enough, the general wind direction took the balloons directly over the Cheetahs! Later in the morning we were entertained by a young female Leopard clambering about a tree offering very good photo opportunities. The afternoon was spent doing general bird photography and watching the female Cheetah kill a Tommie eve and devour it with her cubs.

Masai Mara, Day 3

Day 3 dawned clear and bright and we were rewarded with a great sighting of 2 lionesses on a termite mound glowing in the early morning sun! From here we headed on further to look at the Marsh pride and found 2 lionesses with 6 young cubs heading for the sanctuary of the Marsh. En route back to camp a Leopard feeding on an Impala gave a few more photo opportunities. Our afternoon was sent alternately between the mother Cheetah and 4 cubs feeding on a young Tommie and a lioness with 2 cubs feeding on a wildebeest .... Another difficult day in the Mara! Masai Mara update Day 2

Day 2 in the Mara and the sightings are still fantastic - a few different Cheetahs, Lions, Black Rhino, loads of Wildebeest and Zebras…. only problem, it is overcast and rainy! Here's holding thumbs that tomorrow dawns clear and bright!

C4 Masai Mara update

Ah, there are few things in the natural world that can compare to being back in the Mara! Especially at the end of September when most of the tourists are gone and sightings are far less crowded. Our first day is off to a spectacular start ….. Cheetah with 4 cubs killing a Thomson's Gazelle fawn and then the sun setting amidst sporadic showers over the vast plains of the Mara.
